Hi I'm fairly new to the site, but have used torrents b4. I  used to help admin at a torrent site before it was cloased "oink oink". I've got an internal torrent and keep getting the same error.

Error:> Error: Timeout on server
sktorrent.org: Socket operation timed out

I've checked my pass key is correct ports forwarded, non internal torrents from the site all work fine.
Any advice I would be very grate full.

Hi I use ktorrent as I'm a linux user I've just tried this internal torrent.

and I get the same issue the torrent show's active seeds on the site but the announce times out.
On the other torrent I tried Bad Taste the movie info said it was a private torrent.

Hi glad to say I have cured the problem I use a proxy that's setup just for bittorrent, ktorrent's default settings was set to use proxy for tracker
connection's.
I unchecked that after reading forum post relating to another site and it now works.
