Některým plyšovým medvědům nestačí, že umí chodit, mluvit, hulit a milovat se s prsatými blondýnami. Někteří si dokonce chtějí pořídit vlastní dítě! Mimořádně úspěšná komedie Méďa názorně předvedla, že když jste z plyše, nic vás nezastaví, aspoň co se humoru týče. Dobrou, i když možná i lehce znepokojující zprávou je, že v pokračování se Méďa Ted vydává v doprovodu věrného parťáka Johnnyho v podání Marka Wahlberga ještě o pár kroků dál. Dobré příběhy končí svatbou, ten náš jí začíná. Urostlé a blonďaté pokladní Tami-Lynn nevadí, že je její manžel chlupatý po celém těle a navíc měří o metr a půl míň než ona. On by jí na oplátku chtěl dopřát miminko, jenže jaksi technicky... plyšák a lidská bytost... Nakonec se rozhodnou pro umělé oplodnění. A v okamžiku, kdy Ted s Johnnyho pomocí má potřebné sperma takřka na dosah ruky (či spíše packy), zařehtá úřední šiml, který rozhodne, že medvěd původem z hračkářství nemá na potomky nárok. Jenže Méďa a Johnny jsou hromský kámoši, jen tak něčeho se neleknou, a tak si najmou právničku (Amanda Seyfried). Je blonďatá, okatá a taky trošku hulí, takže veskrze sympatická. Nesourodá trojka se pustí do předem prohraného boje s takovou vervou, že se nebudete stačit divit. Sice jim to možná k vítězství nepomůže, ale hlavně že bude sranda.
